Rehearsals for the end of semester concert are underway. See below for details.

Dinner and Karaoke night - 11 September 2008

Dinner at Saap Thai, followed by karaoke fun at Karaoke World. Details on the events page.

in-fusion - 19 August 2008

The MuscUTS orchestra will be performing at in-fusion this year!

The performance starts at 4:30pm on Level 4 of the Tower Building, in an area designated the Kasbah Cafe for the week.

When: Tuesday 19th August, 4:15pm for 4:30pm start
Where: Building 1 Level 4 foyer area - there will be a stage
Wear: All black
Arrive early to help with setting up.

Welcome to a New Year of MuscUTS in 2008!

If your new and would like to join or find out more about us MuscUTS, just come and find our stall on UTS Union's 'O' Day. We will be just one of the many clubs and societies on display.

About MuscUTS

MuscUTS is the Music Society of the University of Technology, Sydney. Formed in 1991, its goal is to provide students and staff of UTS with an opportunity to perform and listen to music.

MuscUTS currently comprises an SATB choir, a chamber orchestra and a jazz band. Each group holds a weekly two hour rehearsal under the direction of a professional conductor.

MuscUTS puts on two public concerts each year, with several smaller performances for university and private functions from time to time. There are also opportunities for members to take part in festivals. In particular, for choir members, the annual Intervarsity Choral Festivals.

But MuscUTS is not just about making music - each year is packed full of social events, including dinners, picnics, parties, and the list goes on....

New members are always welcome and we don't audition singers or musicians in any of our groups.
